The function of the Flow Total Reports is to calculate the Total Volume per Hour, Day,
Week and Month from flow data. Flow data can be in any units as long as the flow time
period is per second, per minute or per hour. This report is to be used when flow is
measured with an analog input of a GP-HR or SafeT data logger. This will typically be on a
4-20mA input. If the digital pulse input of the GP-HR is used, Total Volume will be
automatically available in the Statistics and Period reports.
The Flow Total Reports are installed by copying the file omnireportflow.exe into the
same folder as the main Omnilog program. This will typically be
C:\Program Files\OMNI\
The Flow Total Report will be added as an additional report option in the Omnilog Data
Management Program. It can be accessed from the Report option of the View menu and from
the Report icon on the toolbar.
The dataset to be used for the report should be selected before the Flow Total Report
is selected. If you are using "Connected Logger" as the current dataset, make
sure you have downloaded data before selecting the Report.
When selected, a Flow Total Report dialog box will appear. This dialog box allows the
user to select:
| 1
From and To Date Times |
Sets limits on the Total Time period of the Report
|
From and To Date Times will default to the Start and End of the current dataset

The Flow Total Report dialog box will remember most of the last options selected by a
user and present these as the default options the next time the dialog box is used. The
dialog box will not remember the Logger Channel to be used as this could change from
logger to logger. The required Flow Channel will need to be selected each time the Flow
Total Report dialog box is used.
Reinstalling New Versions of the Omnilog Data Management Program will not effect the
Flow Total Report.
